1. Creamy Tiramisu

A classic Italian favourite loved by many, Tiramisu is the perfect coffee accompaniment. With its coffee-dipped ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone cream, you’ll find yourself reaching for another slice every time.

Ingredients:

  • 6 egg yolks

  • ¾ cup of sugar

  • ⅔ cup of milk

  • 1 ¼ cups of heavy cream

  • ½ teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

  • 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese

  • 1 cup of strong brewed coffee (room temperature)

  • 2 packs of ladyfingers

  • 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

First off, cook your egg yolks, sugar, and milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it boils. Wait for it to cool, whip in your cream and vanilla, then fold in the mascarpone. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee (make sure it's room temperature so you don’t burn yourself!) and layer them at the bottom of your dish. Top with the mascarpone mixture, then repeat until you reach the top of the dish. Dust with the cocoa powder on top, then put it in the fridge to chill for 2 hours.
