10 Worst Disney World Restaurants & 10 Of The Best

10 Worst Disney World Restaurants & 10 Of The Best

Great Meals, Bland Bites, and a Few Pricey Disappointments

Disney World food can be wonderful, especially when you’ve spent the morning walking through Magic Kingdom in Florida heat, and everyone’s stomach has started grumbling. A good meal at Walt Disney World needs to do a lot: taste good, feel worth the price, give you enough fuel to keep going, and maybe offer a little calm before the next Lightning Lane scramble. Some restaurants manage that beautifully, with strong seafood, lively rooms, fresh flavors, and meals you’ll actually remember after the trip. Others can feel more like a place you ended up because it was available, nearby, or covered in characters your kid loves. These are 10 Disney World restaurants that often leave guests underwhelmed, followed by 10 that tend to make the planning feel worth it.

1. Paradiso 37

Paradiso 37 has a great Disney Springs location, right by the water, and the menu sounds like it should bring plenty of color and heat. The issue guests often mention is that the food can taste blander than expected, with Latin-inspired dishes that don’t always bring the seasoning or portion size people want at Disney Springs prices.

2. Hollywood & Vine

Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios works best when character dining is the real reason you’re booking it. Families with younger kids may love the interactions, especially when the characters are part of the day’s big plan. The buffet, though, can feel plain for the price, with familiar meats, vegetables, and kid-friendly options that don’t feel much better than standard banquet food.

3. Planet Hollywood

Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs gives you a lot to look at before the food even shows up. The movie memorabilia, huge dining room, and busy entrance are fun, if that’s what you came for. The burgers, sandwiches, and casual entrées can unfortunately be hit-or-miss.

4. Rainforest Cafe

Rainforest Cafe is one of those places kids may remember more for the animatronics than the food. Both the Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom locations can be loud, crowded, and a little overwhelming after a long park day. The menu sticks mostly to familiar American basics, which is useful for picky eaters, but burgers, salads, and pasta dishes don’t feel special enough for the wait.

5. Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus has one big advantage: location. When you’re in Fantasyland, tired, hungry, and close to losing patience, it’s convenient. The flatbreads and quick-service Italian-style options can still feel doughy, mild, and a little too expensive for what they are, even with the charming upstairs seating and Small World-adjacent nostalgia.

6. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn And Cafe

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe provides guests with a roomy Frontierland setting, offering bites like tacos or nachos. Unfortunately, it has a rep of overly greasy or bland food. The Customization options help, but it doesn’t always turn a quick-service stop into a meal you’d plan around.

7. STK Steakhouse

STK Steakhouse at Disney Springs is sleek, loud, and expensive. That can make any uneven steak feel especially frustrating. Some guests like the sides and the lounge energy, but inconsistent cooking and a room that can be hard to talk in make it a risky choice for a higher-end dinner.

8. The Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace has one of the loveliest Magic Kingdom settings, and the Pooh character meals can be sweet for families. That said, the buffet is where expectations can wobble. When breakfast meats, eggs, and other buffet staples taste tired or lukewarm, it's just not worth the money.

9. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant sits right on Main Street, U.S.A., which makes it tempting when you want a break near the park entrance. The Lady and the Tramp theme is sweet, and the menu is easy for most groups. The pasta, sauces, and Italian-American staples can feel a little basic, though.

10. Chef Mickey’s

Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort is iconic, especially for families who want to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto without tracking them down in the parks. Unfortunately, the buffet can still feel loud and hectic, and the food is usually more familiar comfort than standout cooking.

1. Flying Fish

Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk is a strong pick when you want seafood that feels expertly handled. The restaurant serves fish, shellfish, and oak-grilled steaks in a room that feels polished without being stiff. After a day of quick-service meals and snack carts, a plate here can feel like a real reset.

2. Jaleo

Jaleo at Disney Springs is built for sharing, which makes dinner feel relaxed and social. You can order tapas, paella, cured meats, vegetables, and bright little plates without everyone committing to one huge entrée. It’s especially good for groups that like to nibble and compare bites.

3. The Boathouse

The Boathouse has waterfront views, a big menu, and enough seafood to keep it from feeling like just another Disney Springs crowd-pleaser. Oysters, lobster rolls, steaks, and classic sides make it easy for mixed groups to find something they’ll actually enjoy.

4. Narcoossee’s

Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a luxurious spot. The menu leans into seafood, steak, and elegant starters, with incredible views. It’s a splurge, yes, but the setting and food make it easier to understand where the money went.

5. Raglan Road

Raglan Road at Disney Springs brings live music, Irish dancing, and pub food that actually holds its own. The fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and hearty mains make it a good choice when everyone wants something filling and lively. It can get noisy, but the noise is a part of the experience.

6. Topolino’s Terrace

Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort has rooftop views and a menu that feels more refined than the average resort meal. Breakfast is popular, and dinner gives you Riviera-inspired dishes that feel and taste fresh.

7. Toledo, Tapas, Steak & Seafood

Toledo sits at the top of Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The Spanish-inspired menu includes tapas, seafood, steak, and rich rice dishes, with a room that feels more grown-up than many park-adjacent options.

8. Boma

Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the stronger buffets because the food has a wider range than the usual carving-station routine. You’ll find African-inspired soups, meats, stews, breads, and desserts, with enough familiar options for cautious eaters.

9. Bourbon Steak

Bourbon Steak at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel brings a polished steakhouse option to the resort area. The menu centers on prime cuts, seafood, and rich sides. It’s not the cheapest meal on the property, obviously, but well worth the stop if it's in your budget.

10. Ale & Compass

Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a calm, useful choice when you want comfort food with a coastal New England tilt. Seafood, braised meats, burgers, and breakfast staples make it an easy pick to round off this list.
