Which Of These Weird Flavors Would You Try?
Chowing down on a bag of classic Lay's or Nacho Cheese Doritos will always be satisfying, but sometimes it's fun to try something new. No matter how big a fan of these beloved brands you might be, we bet you haven't tried all the available flavors. There are likely at least a few that you didn't even know about, particularly in Japan, the world's main adventurous food flavor hub. From sake Kit Kat to wasabi Oreos, here are some of the wackiest flavors of your favorite classic snacks.
1. Garlic Shrimp Doritos
In Taiwan, you can experience all the goodness of a dorito, but with garlic shrimp flavoring. People are saying it tastes lightly sweet with a touch of spice and a strong shrimpy flavor.
2. Vegemite Cadbury Dairy Milk
In case you didn't know, Australians love their Vegemite, a spread made of concentrated yeast extract. They also love their Cadbury brand chocolate so combining the two is nothing short of marketing genius. However, the result is reportedly an affront to the senses, both over-salty and over-sweet.
3. Capuccino Lay's
It's always a risk to turn a beloved beverage into a crunchy snack. Although confusing to the senses, people say this rare Lay's flavor is actually really good, exhibiting the bitterness of coffee followed by some milky sweetness.
4. Salt & Seaweed Pringles
Although you can buy them in select stores in North America, seaweed-flavored Pringles are, unsurprisingly, most popular in Japan, China, and Thailand. They have that umami-rich, oceanic flavor that appeals to the Asian snack market more than the American one, but if you have the opportunity to try this flavor, we recommend it.
5. Strawberry Cheetos
You may associate Cheetos with fake, neon-orange cheese, but that's just one of countless flavor options available worldwide, including sweet ones. Strawberry Cheetos are a popular snack in Japan and China. It's the same crunchy snack but with a flavor likened to strawberry Nesquik.

7. Sake Kit Kat
Just when you thought Japan couldn't get more creative with their snack flavors, they dropped sake Kit Kats, a very localized take on a classic American treat. It combines the flavor of sake (rice wine) with white chocolate Kit Kats and they even have a small percentage of alcohol in them.
8. Baked Sweet Potato Kit Kat

12. Wasabi Oreo
